We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

功能：

Carboxylesterase that acts as a key negative regulator of the Wnt signaling pathway by specifically mediating depalmitoleoylation of WNT proteins. Serine palmitoleoylation of WNT proteins is required for efficient binding to frizzled receptors.

1. NOTUM expression was increased in metastatic cells. Proliferation was suppressed by inhibiting expression of NOTUM. Knockdown of NOTUM genes inhibited proliferation as well as migration, with possible involvement of p38 and c-JUN N-terminal kinase in this process. PMID: 30343282
2. Data show that notum and glypican-1 and glypican-3 gene expression during colorectal cancer (CRC) development and present evidence to suggest them as potential new biomarkers of CRC pathogenesis. PMID: 26517809
