    G polyclonal antibody, HRP conjugated CSB-PA14899B0Rb was produced in the rabbit immunized by using the Recombinant Rabies virus Glycoprotein protein (20-459AA) as the immunogen. The target protein G can attach the virus to host cellular receptor, inducing endocytosis of the virion. In the endosome, the acidic pH induces conformational changes in the glycoprotein trimer, which trigger fusion between virus and cell membrane. There is convincing evidence that the muscular form of the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR), the neuronal cell adhesion molecule (NCAM), and the p75 neurotrophin receptor (p75NTR) bind glycoprotein and thereby facilitate rabies virus entry into cells.
    This Rabbit anti-Rabies virus G Polyclonal antibody was tested in the ELISA. The HRP-conjugated IgG got purified by protein G and reached up to 95% in purity. It only reacts with the G proteins of Rabies virus-origin and may be used to detect the endogenous levels of G protein.
