產(chǎn)品描述：

Dog Serum albumin (ALB)amino acids 25-608 with a 6xHis-tag at the N-terminus were expressed in the yeast. The resulting protein is the recombinant full-length of mature dog ALB protein. This protein was validated by SDS-PAGE analysis, and its purity is greater than 90%. The reducing SDS-PAGE gel showed a molecular weight band of 65-110 kDa. This recombinant ALB protein may be used to produce specific antibodies or in the studies of ALB-related cardiovascular diseases.

Serum ALB is a multifunctional circulatory protein with the most abundant expression. It is involved in many physiological processes, such as the maintenance of colloid oncotic pressure and microvascular integrity, modulation of metabolic and vascular functions, binding and transportation of substances, and exerting antioxidant activities and anticoagulant effects. Furthermore, ALB is negatively related to inflammatory processes by regulating neutrophil adhesion and cell signaling moieties.

功能：

Binds water, Ca(2+), Na(+), K(+), fatty acids, hormones, bilirubin and drugs. Its main function is the regulation of the colloidal osmotic pressure of blood. Major zinc transporter in plasma, typically binds about 80% of all plasma zinc. Major calcium and magnesium transporter in plasma, binds approximately 45% of circulating calcium and magnesium in plasma. Potentially has more than two calcium-binding sites and might additionally bind calcium in a non-specific manner. The shared binding site between zinc and calcium at residue Asp-273 suggests a crosstalk between zinc and calcium transport in the blood. The rank order of affinity is zinc > calcium > magnesium. Binds to the bacterial siderophore enterobactin and inhibits enterobactin-mediated iron uptake of E.coli from ferric transferrin, and may thereby limit the utilization of iron and growth of enteric bacteria such as E.coli. Does not prevent iron uptake by the bacterial siderophore aerobactin.
