This kit is for qualitative determination of GFAP autoantibody in human serum and plasma.
There is no capture antibody and detection antibody. There is no standard either in it.
The plate is coated with specific antigen.

If there is no detection antibody in the kit please can you clarify how the signal is created in the color reaction. Is there labeled antigen rather than a detection antibody?
The principle seems to mention the incorporation of anti-human immunoglobulin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP). If this is correct then which types of Ig are detected, is it all of them or just certain such as IgG and IgM.

This is an indirect kit. There is no detection antibody in the kit. The target is GFAP autoantibody（it is total, including IgG/IgM）. The plate is coated with specific antigen( the antigen binds to the target specifically). The secondary antibody in the kit is anti-human immunoglobulin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP)（the secondary antibody binds to the target). Then add TMB substrate, and the color will be developed under the catalysis of HRP.

The customer specifically asked what isotypes this kit would detect. The answer to their question lies in the secondary antibody being used in the assay. Most commercial antibodies against Immunoglobulins will be specific to a certain isotype IgG, IgM, IgA etc.
I have tried to find examples of commercially available antibodies which would recognize all immunoglobulins however so far I have not been able to find any. Is the secondary antibody you use a mixture of antibodies that will bind to several different isotypes? If so do you know which ones?

It is mixed. It detects total GFAP autoantibody（including IgG/IgM）.
